Nature and stillness
From my very own experience, I am deeply convinced of nature’s healing power – it is always there for me, in its beauty and simplicity.
Nature provides a space where the external world’s demands fade away, allowing me to find stillness within myself. Whether it’s a quiet walk in the woods, a moment by the sea, or simply sitting under a tree, nature has the remarkable ability to offer solace and a sense of peace to those who seek it. Mother Nature’s inherent simplicity and beauty are calming. The sight of a sunrise, the sound of a flowing stream, or the feel of soft grass beneath one’s feet can bring a sense of awe and appreciation of the moment.
Nature operates on a different timescale than our fast-paced, modern lives. The enduring landscapes and ancient natural processes can instill a sense of timelessness, reminding us of the vastness of existence and the fleeting nature of our daily concerns.
For several years now I have been consciously aware of how every walk and every stay in nature is transforming me.
From stress into peace, from fear into security, from worrying thoughts into deep silence, from grief into unity.
